HHI Polysilicon Purchase from KAM

Korea based solar cell and panel manufacturer Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) announced that they have singed a long-term contract with Korean polysilicon manufacturer Korea Advanced Material (KAM). HHI will source polysilicon worth of around €462 million from KAM. The delivery will be from 2010 to 2015.

KAM is a joint venture between Hyundai Heavy Industries and KCC Corp, a Korean construction industry chemicals manufacturer.

It is the second contract that HHI has signed in January. HHI signed a contract with Korean Woongjin Polysilicon for polysilicon worth around €386 million from 2011 to 2015.
